Professional Pilot II
The Professional Pilot II Certificate Program will give students the skills and certification level of a Certified Flight Instructor for Airplane Single-engine Land aircraft and Instrument Rating. This certification will meet the entry-level hiring requirements for most 14 CFR Part 61 and 141 flight schools where graduates will gain employment as professional flight instructors. Graduates having the additional instrument instructor rating will make them much more competetive in the job market. This Certificate program requires a minimum of 50 credits. At least 15 credits, including Flight Instructor (AVN 224/AVN 234) and Instrument Instructor (AVN 240) must be earned in residency at Northwest Aviation College. In addition, a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale must be maintained.
