The Professional Pilot I Vocational Certificate Program is constructed to certificate the student as a Commercial Pilot with Single-engine airplane rating and instrument pilot ratings, and additionally as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) for single-engine airplane.  Upon successful completion of this Certificate Program, the graduate will meet the requirements for entry-level employment as a professional flight instructor at flight schools operating under both 49 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 throughout the United States.  What follows is a further breakdown of applicable occupational names with SOC codes, and a detailed breakdown of the *financial investment required for this program.

*  Flight course totals are based on realistic averages of student flight hours and instructional briefings, which are typically greater than the minimums required for pilot certificates and ratings by the Federal Aviation Administration for 14 CFR Part 141 Training Curriculums.  Minimum flight hours are rarely achieved and estimation of such hours is highly dependent upon student attendance, study habits, and other individual student learning factors.  For a better illustration on how attendance affects cost estimates, please refer to our Cost Factor Table.

Note: Job placement rate for completed students at this time is zero (0) due to no graduates within the required reporting time as set by the U.S. Department of Education for issuance of Title IV funds.  The College began offering Title IV programs in March 2011, so this reporting window does not reflect the number of students who graduated prior to the reporting window.
