AVOTEC Army Program

 

Northwest Aviation College offers flight training programs from the basic Private Pilot Certificate through the more advanced Multi-Engine Instructor rating.  Flight training begins on a rolling basis and students may enroll at any time.  Assuming full-time student status, five flights per week, students may expect to complete a certificate or rating every 12 weeks.  Our facility is open for flight training 7 days per week.  For more information, please contact Terrine Brown, Director of Education, at 253-854-4960 or terrine@nacstaff.com.

Flight Programs

Costs are estimates based on full-time student status and FAA minimum times.

 

Program cost estimates do not include:

  • FAA class II medical, good for 1 year, approximately $80.00
  • Certified Class Materials:  Private Pilot Kit - including headset, plotters, books, bag, etc. $616.00

The Army will pay a maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year for training. Costs exceeding this amount are the responsibility of the soldier.  AVOTEC funds will be paid directly to Northwest Aviation College.

This program expires on September 30, 2009.

All soldiers on active or extended active duty are eligible, including the National Guard and Army Reserve.
