Degree Programs
Northwest Aviation College offers an Associate in Applied Science degree to those who possess a GED or high school diploma. The AAS degree program encompasses general education courses and all flight training from the level of Private Pilot to Multi-Engine instructor in a span of 24 months - full time status. Students enroll in one aviation ground course, one aviation flight course and one general education course each 11 week term. Students are strongly encouraged to maintain a 5-day a week flight schedule.
AAS Degree Plan -Aviation Flight Technology
Northwest Aviation College's AAS in Aviation Flight Technology offers students the ability to tailor their studies to meet career goals. Whether they plan to become commercial pilots for the major airlines or bush pilots in Alaska, NAC can assist students in creating a course of study designed to make all the necessary preparations.

Northwest Aviation College has an Aviation Management Degree in development.
Admissions
Candidates for admission into these programs must submit a copy of either a high school diploma or GED. College graduates may submit an official transcript from the degree granting college in lieu of a high school diploma. Alternatively, students who are beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and demonstrate the ability to benefit (ATB) from the training by passing an independently administered test (TOEFL, etc.) may be admitted. In this case official test scores will be required. Additionally, candidates seeking admission into the AAS degree program must obtain a satisfactory score on the ASSET placement exam administered by the college prior to taking math or English classes. Students who have successfully completed college level math and writing courses will not be required to take the ASSET placement exam. The school makes no provisions to admit students who do not meet these minimum requirements.
Admission Process:
1. Complete an application form.
2. Submit copy of high school diploma, GED or or official test score OR have an official college transcript sent to Northwest Aviation College from all previous colleges attended.
3. Submit $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
Additional requirements for non-US citizens are:
1. Receive TSA approval through ASFP
2. International student application and Enrollment agreement
3. Proof of English Proficiency
4. $200.00 Application Fee
5. $2,500.00 Deposit and proof of financial ability
A letter of acceptance or denial will be issued after review of the student's application.
Students, who wish to enroll in a course for continuing education, may do so without formal admission into the college.
