Northwest Aviation College specializes in the art of teaching people to fly. Whether your interest lies simply in getting a Sport Pilot or Private Pilot Certificate to enjoy the freedom of flight, receiving specialized training in tail-wheel or Technologically Advanced Aircraft such as Cirrus, taking mountain flying courses, attending a variety of aviation-specific classes, or enrolling into one of our collegiate programs to pursue a career as a professional pilot, we have programs that can be tailored to meet your individual needs.

You will learn to fly in varied weather conditions and around terrain ranging from the Pacific Ocean to the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. No, it's not always sunny with flat terrain in this area of the country - but then again, neither is the real world!

Financing Your Education

The costs associated with acquiring an education as a professional pilot is not cheap, with the main expense being associated with the use of aircraft and the related expenses they incur. Northwest Aviation College understands that most students will require funding assistance to help them achieve their educational goals, and is able to offer the following programs for students enrolling into the College's academic programs.

Federal Financial Student Aid Programs

Northwest Aviation College is now approved by the U.S. Department of Education to offer federal financial student aid in the form of pell grants, and both subsidized and un-subsidized student loans.  For more information, please go to our federal student aid page.

VA Benefits

Northwest Aviation College is approved VA for supporting various programs ranging from Chapter 30 (GI Bill) to Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill). For more information about this benefit and others, go to: GI Bill, or call us!

Scholarships

Although Northwest Aviation College does not currently offer any scholarships programs, we do continue to look for scholarship opportunities that our students can apply for.  The College keeps an updated listing of scholarship links.
